The year after Harry arrived we lost both
Flora and Maisie within
3 weeks of one another. We’d lost Hannah the year before so for
nearly a year Harry was a lone dog. This was a situation we found
odd as it was for the first time in 24 years we’d only got one dog;
no doubt Harry found it strange as well.

Margot uses Harry as a convenient
pillow!
This changed when Harry was joined in 2004 by Maursett Margot –
Margot for short. At the Clumber Spaniel Club's Centenary show she made lots of friends due
to the change in Kennel Club rules allowing youngsters from 4 months
to be entered as ‘not for competition’. We so looked forward to her
debut in the ring.
Sadly, however, she injured her shoulder jumping
awkwardly when a pup causing an injury as a consequence of which she
limps intermittently.

Honestly, it wasn't the booze that
did it
This will never fully recover even with her
trips to the pool most Saturdays for hydrotherapy so…. she enjoys
playing hard with Harry but is not shown.

Hydrotherapy? Too much like hard
work for Margot
But, as anyone who visits the Lubyrnetyre household
will know, Margot has character and personality!
